Diversity
Serenity focuses on feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common
attitudes, interests, and goals.” For children, a sense of community brings connection both to their surroundings and the individuals in those surroundings — further connecting them to their own unique place in the world. At Serenity we understand that Community plays a crucial role in early childhood education. It involves the connections between children, families, care providers, and local organisations. A strong community provides a supportive and inclusive environment that helps children grow their social-emotional skills and feel a sense of belonging.
Community
Serenity sees quality as child care that are identified as critical to the well-being of children. These include: Health, safety and good hygiene. Good nutrition. A well-maintained environment set up for children. In a quality program, each child feels accepted, understood, supported and respected by the adults, enjoys positive relationships with the other children and generally finds the activities interesting, engaging, and satisfying.
Quality
Serenity sees Ceativity as the freest form of self-expression. There is nothing more satisfying and fulfilling for children than to be able to express themselves openly and without judgment. The ability to be creative, to create something from personal feelings and experiences, can reflect and nurture children's emotional health.Creative activities enable children to experiment with thought process, actions and materials and can provide good opportunities for problem solving, collaboration and negotiation – all of which are key skills for life, as they grow older.

RECE, BCA As an early childhood educator and IT professional, I have a unique combination of skills and experiences that have shaped my career journey. My passion for working with young children began early on, as I have always had a natural affinity for encouraging their growth and development. In my role as an early childhood educator, I have had the opportunity to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn, play, and explore. Whether it's designing engaging lesson plans, facilitating hands-on activities, or offering individualized support, I strive to foster a love of learning and instill important skills in the young minds entrusted to my care. In addition to my expertise in early childhood education, I am also a skilled IT professional. My interest in technology started during my University years when I discovered the power of technology to enhance education. I pursued my passion by obtaining a degree in IT and have since honed my skills in various areas such as programming languages, cybersecurity, and technical support. By incorporating educational apps, interactive multimedia, and other tech tools, I help children develop critical thinking abilities, problem-solving skills, and digital literacy from an early age. Throughout my career, I have cherished the opportunity to witness the growth and development of the children I work with. I find immense joy in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive both academically and emotionally. It is gratifying to contribute to their journey toward becoming independent, confident, and lifelong learners. As an early childhood educator and IT professional, I continually strive to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and education. I attend professional development workshops, engage in ongoing learning, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure that I provide the best possible educational experiences for the children I serve. In summary, my dual expertise as an early childhood educator and IT professional allows me to effectively support the development and learning of young children while harnessing the power of technology to enhance their educational experience.
